The basic eye test produces your prescription, while an advanced eye health check adds 7 further tests, among them early cataract detection, an eye-strain measurement and night vision. It costs SAR 150, is offered in selected branches, and each test lasts roughly 10 to 20 minutes.

A 90-day guarantee comes with the basic test: if your new glasses don't feel right, the test is repeated free of charge and the lenses are swapped once at no cost. Booking happens on the website, where you pick the test type, the branch and a time slot. Contact lens wearers should remove them at least an hour beforehand.

Online orders can go back within 14 days if they are unused, unscratched, in their original box and in the condition you received them. Items bought at Saudi branches must come back within just 2 days. Start an online return from the “Orders” area of your account, or take the order number or e-invoice to a branch.

Key conditions worth knowing before you buy:

• No prescription lens of any kind can be returned or exchanged, as each is made to your prescription.
• No contact lens of any kind can be returned.
• Mixing returnable and non-returnable items on one invoice makes the entire invoice non-returnable.
• Fees for shipping and for cash on delivery are not refunded.
• Multifocal lenses purchased in a branch may be swapped for two lenses within 45 days, a reading one and a distance one, as long as you bring the original invoice.

Once your return request is in, Magrabi receives the product and checks it, which normally takes 2 to 3 working days. An email then tells you whether the return was approved or declined, and why. Declined items are sent back to you.

Money is refunded to the original payment method, and the timing varies with that method and with your bank. Online orders can't be swapped directly: if you'd rather have another product, send the first item back and order again once the refund has come through.

Any branch will carry out free maintenance for normal wear and tear, although this does not extend to replacements. If you have a Magrabi frame and want new lenses or an updated prescription, contact customer service and have your proof of purchase ready.

Yes. Most products can be ordered online for collection at a Saudi branch. When the order is confirmed, an email lets you know it is ready and includes a code of 4 digits to show at pickup.

Orders wait at the branch for 14 days; anything not collected by then is cancelled and refunded. To change or cancel an order, speak to customer service or to the branch directly.
