Tavola's updated English return policy allows 30 days after you receive the order, provided the product is unused and in original condition, in intact original packaging, with every accessory and manual plus the original receipt. To start, contact Customer Care with the order number and why you're returning it. Exchanges follow identical conditions, though only within the country you bought from.

Received something damaged, faulty or incorrect? Keep both the item and its box, photograph it clearly and email the pictures to Customer Care along with your order number. Depending on the case, they'll arrange a repair, replacement, exchange or refund. The following can be neither returned nor exchanged:

• Sale items.
• Magazines and books.
• Beauty and personal care items, on hygiene grounds.
• Food items like coffee, tea, fondant, food colours and cake mixes, except when you were sent the wrong item and report it, still sealed, no more than 5 days after delivery.

The Arabic return policy page still states that they'll replace the product or issue a store voucher, with money going back to how you originally paid in between 7 and 10 business days only when a repair or replacement isn't possible.

According to the updated English version, however, refunds to your original card or payment method begin no later than 24 hours after the return is approved and land in your account in up to 14 days depending on the bank; the original shipping charges aren't refunded. Check with Customer Care what you'll receive before sending anything back.

A manufacturer's warranty covers many products, so hold on to the original receipt and read the warranty card in the box. Tavola handles servicing, repairs and spare parts across a large number of the brands it carries. To order a part, give Customer Care the part name and the model number of your appliance, and they'll check whether it's in stock.

Eligible knives come with one free sharpening, limited to smooth-edged blades. Customer Care can also prepare a wholesale quote if you send them a list of what you need.
